Spiniffy

I want to do the bottom part of the walls in black and white tile and then the top painted a bright coral/pink color and feather dusted with a dandelion yellow. Then add to my teal and pink sheers with a purple and some black to add some drama. Then put in the vent and do a black and white tile floor. And paint my shelf red. Then put together a cabinet to cover the hot water heater. It would look so awesome.

I will leave comments open and see if the madness has stopped. If I get a lot of traffic, though, I will have to close them again.

I want to live here

It's been awhile! I saw Julie did hers again, so I remembered that I haven't done it in a few months.

1. Market Square in Knoxville. Jon and I were there recently and it was beautiful! A bum was playing a flute and begging for money, the clouds were fluffy, it was warm and breezy, there were birds, etc. I want to live there!

2. Friends seasons 1 and 2.

3. Reading through the old X-Men comics.

4. Looking through condos for sale in Knoxville. It's fun!

5. Getting pictures of newborn puppies! Hoping my grandma will adopt one of them.

I got a composition book and now I am putting story ideas in it. Yay me! Baby steps.

I am closing comments for a little while to see if the spambots will lose interest in me. I think I put my web address on something that I shouldn't have. Which is why the sudden spam attack. Just wanted to let you know why comments are closed. Hopefully I can open them again in the near future.

Also, I realize I was repetitive in my last post. That is why I shouldn't post while watching TV at the same time. It's hard to pay attention when I have to stop mid-entry to read the Japanese translations.

Something new: I'm hopefully taking my grandma to an animal shelter on Monday to meet a dog. She really needs a dog in her life to keep her focused and also just as a companion. There is a tiny little Yorkie mix at a shelter close by and we are hoping that she may like it and want to take it home. So there may be a new addition on Monday. Yay! She is not replacing Missie, no dog could ever do that. But granny really needs a little companion animal at her age. I'll update more about the dog situation later.

Working at the park has been hard. Mostly because I am sick of it. I need a break. I'd like to have a weekend so I can go to Knoxville and go to Sweetwater flea market. That would be awesome. I want to go see if they have any comic books. X-Men, preferably. I am reading X-Men now and enjoying it. I'm in the Dark Phoenix Saga, which is sad.

The spambots have found me and left nearly 100 comments on my other entry, which I have now deleted. Not sure why that one is so popular.

So, my husband made me a pretty necklace for our anniversary. He cut an amethyst a long time ago and then had it made into a necklace for our anniversary. It is gorgeous! I'll have to get pictures and post them when I finally get another battery for my camera.

Two years ago Jon and I got married, ate some cake, then stayed up to like 2 AM talking to our friends Andrew, Meredith, Stephanie, and Donald. It was a fun time. Today we got up, went to lunch, went to the playhouse to see Hairspray, got Mexican food, got cake from Kroger, and came home where we watched Mall Cop. Also in there Jon gave me a beautiful necklace that he had made. It has an amethyst stone in it that he cut himself and then he had the setting made. It is gorgeous! Also, Jon lost his phone because his belt phone holder decided to break. We're hoping someone turned it into the box office at the playhouse. We'll call tomorrow to see. But it has been a really great anniversary and I've had a lot of fun.
